Our last umbrella cover had been in use for five years and was showing its age, so I was on a search for a replacement. The maker of that umbrella wanted more than the entire cost of the stand and cover for a replacement, and I wasn’t blown away by the quality. A Google search led me to Formosa, and I am so glad! Side by side, the quality of their product is quite superior to the old cover. The fabric is thicker, the seams sturdier, and the pockets for the umbrella rib arms are better designed. Replacement was easy and took around five minutes. This is the way.

We purchased this to replace faded Home Depot purchased umbrella, in hope of not having to throw out a perfectly good umbrella. The cover appears to be very good quality material and it took all of 4 minutes to take off the old one and put on this new replacement canopy. On our umbrella there is a plastic retainer cap it the top which easily came off and fit perfectly to the diameter of the new canopy top hole. We are extremely happy with this purchase glad that we were able to revitalize our umbrella without creating more land waste and while saving money of buying a new umbrellaThis cover is very well made, the right thickness for ease of use and has multiple ways you can unzip and get to the shelves below. It's design is well thought out and very easy to use. It's sewn well without any 'wonky' areas. All zippers fit together perfectly with attention to detail. It's actually much better made than what I was anticipating! Definitely worth the money for any number of uses. I will be ordering more of these!

I had a natty old mildewed Sunbrella umbrella and looked at replacing it. Rather than the $250 I would have had to pay for a whole new umbrella, I thought I would try Formosa replacement canopy for 10% of the cost of a whole new umbrella. Mind you, it is not Sunbrella material but it is fine and serves the purpose. I ran into a small problem where the grommet at the top was too small for my current umbrella's finial to fit into. The canopy I was replacing had a metal thingy with teeth that pierced the old umbrella fabric and held it at the top. Well, I pried that thingy off but it got pretty twisted up. Thought I would go to the hardware store and find a similar piece but no luck. I got home and hammered the old one, used a exacto knife and cut out the new grommet on the new canopy and just whacked the old baby into place. It's fine.

So happy to be able to replace the canopy and keep the perfectly fine working umbrella frame. For the $30 it costs, I could replace it every year but looks like it will hold up for quite a few years. Not sure what the elements will do to the black color but has been up a month or so and so far so good.

Absolutely love it! Exceeded my expectations... Have bought replacement canopies in the past and was hesitant about the quality of the canopy because of the low price. Received it in the shipped estimated time and must say that the black color is extremely elegant. The box contained a "thank you" note from the small family owned business which was just "nice". Was so pleased by the ambiance of of the canopy that we opened a Moet Champagne bottle and drank it while viewing the California Ocean sunset under our new Formosa canopy.

I am purchasing these umbrella canopies to replace the worn umbrella canopies for the tables around our association pool. They get used year around, so we needed something sturdy but pretty. I was happily surprised how sturdy the material is and the tie that is backed so not to tear the umbrella. The color is beautiful. Very happy with this purchase and sure we will order in the future. Highly recommend
